Dealing with etching from water spots can be quite challenging. Our first step involves the use of chemicals to counteract the mineral deposits. We then employ machine polishing to eliminate the etched layer. Usually, the sun bakes the etching into the paint, which then cools down overnight. Hence, it is crucial to use an IR lamp to warm up the panel, observing if the etching is reappearing. In many instances, we need to execute multiple cycles of polishing and heating the panel to fully eradicate the water spots.
