Honda Civic Type R | FK8

Finally the Honda Civic Type R CTR arrived to Carzwerk. Since we saw the car in the SEMA car show we are wondering when we will receive the first CTR for the treatment. Both CTR received similar service so we put them in the same blog.

According to (www.caranddriver.com) This turbocharged, direct-injected 2.0-liter inline-four is at the core of the Type R’s break from the old-style Honda performance. Fed up to 22.8 psi of boost, this engine cranks out 306 horsepower at 6500 rpm and 295 lb-ft of torque from 2500 to 4500 rpm, and it revs to a mere 7000 rpm, measly by historical hot-Honda standards. 

Many people wondering why we have to take so much more time to work on the CTR than other cars. You may want to say it’s just a Civic right? Shouldn’t take you that much longer. Look at the designs of the front and rear bumpers, the hood vent, the over fenders, extended rocker panel, the B / C black pillar trim, and the crazy rear truck and spoiler design. I guess no one is going to buy it if those doesn’t matter than a regular Civic? We care about the details just like you do.
